Do You Qualify for the CDCP?
You may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan if you meet the program's eligibility requirements, including:
- You are a Canadian resident for tax purposes.
- You do not have access to dental insurance through an employer, pension, or another private plan.
- Your adjusted family net income is less than $90,000.
- You have filed your most recent Canadian tax return.
- You meet the other eligibility requirements established by the Government of Canada.
CDCP coverage can vary based on your household income and the type of dental treatment you receive. Even when a service is covered, additional charges may apply depending on your coverage level, the treatment provided, and the CDCP fee schedule.
What Dental Services Are Covered Under the CDCP?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan may help cover a variety of eligible dental services, including:
